Skinjackers are afterlights who aren't dead; their bodies are in a coma somewhere. Until their comatose body dies on its own, skinjackers can walk into living beings and take control of their bodies.
Skinjackers have the ability to "jack fleshies" in the human world-it's like they possess the fleshies body and can control it. Skinjackers can jack for the amount of years they would have live if they had died of natural causes before loosing their power and becoming a regular Afterlight with no abilities. Skinjackers have their abilities, because, unlike the rest of the Afterlights, they are not truly dead; they are in a coma of some sorts. Skinjackers also can't go into the light until the time comes when their ability vanishes.
Types of skinjacking[]
- Furjacking- Skinjacking animals.
- Posessing- Skinjacking a person's body for so long, you get stuck in it. The only way out is to kill the body you're stuck in.
- Halfjacking- when you control only a part of the body.
- Terminizing- when you tell someone about the light to calm them and make them feel better.
- Justicing- determining whether or not someone's guilty from a crime they were convicted of.
- Soul Surfing- leaping from soul to soul in order to move.
